Statement of Faith
Women Ministers United Fellowship (WMUF)
Women Ministers United Fellowship (WMUF) is rooted in the Holy Bible, which we believe to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living.
We affirm the following core beliefs:
One God in Three Persons
We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are distinct, yet fully one, sharing the same divine nature and working in perfect unity (Ephesians 4:4–6; 1 Corinthians 8:6).
Jesus Christ: Fully God and Fully Man
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Through His death and resurrection, He offers forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life to all who believe (Romans 5:6–11).
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not based on human works but on the finished work of Christ. All who repent and believe are forgiven, made new, and restored to a right relationship with God (Ephesians 2:8–9).
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, guiding, teaching, and empowering them to live a godly life. The Spirit equips believers with gifts and strength to serve and to fulfill God’s purpose (Acts 2; 1 Corinthians 12).
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. It exists to glorify God, share the Gospel, make disciples, and serve others in love. We are called to walk together in unity, humility, and truth (Ephesians 1:22–23).
Women in Ministry
We believe that God calls and equips women for every area of ministry. Women are empowered by the Holy Spirit to lead, teach, disciple, and serve according to their gifts and calling. We affirm and support women walking fully in their God-given purpose (Joel 2:28–29; Acts 2:17–18).
Christian Living
We believe that believers are called to live lives that reflect the character of Christ—marked by love, holiness, integrity, and faith. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we grow in spiritual maturity and bear fruit that honors God (Galatians 5:22–23).
The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. He will fulfill His promises, bring final justice, and establish His eternal kingdom (Acts 1:11; Revelation 22:12).
